Biography

A Native of Brazil, Dr. Gleyton Pinto is an avid performer and teaching artist. An active ensemble player, Dr. Pinto served as bass clarinet and assistant principal clarinet of the Experimental de Repertório Orchestra from 2006 to 2013, assistant principal clarinet of the São Caetano do Sul Philarmonic Orchestra from 2008 to 2014 and principal clarinet/basset horn of the São Paulo State Symphonic Band from 2014 to 2017. He has worked with distinguish conductors, such as Kurt Masur, Ronald Zollman, Ligia Amadio and others. Currently, Gleyton is a member of the Boulder Altitude Directive (B.A.D.) ensemble, and a guest artist at the Colorado MahlerFest Orchestra, Longmont Symphony Orchestra and Cheyenne Symphony Orchestra.
